The Pacific Sokeye Salmon return to the river where they were hatched to spawn before they die. This graphic piece is also a metaphor for a species that may become extinct due to ocean temperature, pesticides and pollution.
Thank you for your interest in my work! My intent is to interject motion and energy into each piece, and to tell a narrative through impressionism and the use of vibrant color. I paint with watercolor and transparent inks. I'm not a professional photographer, but I often take my camera with me....sometimes the magic happens through the lens, not with the paintbrush.
